Refund Policy

Introduction Section

At H-Tutor Shiksha, we strive to provide the best possible match between tutors and students. However, we understand that certain circumstances may require a refund. Below are the terms of our refund policy:

Initial Tutor Fees Section

1. Initial Tutor Fees:

A fixed fee is charged before a tutor is provided.
Refund on Tutor Unavailability: If we are unable to match you with a tutor after your initial payment, we will process a full refund within 7 business days.

Demo Session Section

2. Demo Session:

After the demo session is completed, if you choose to proceed with the tutor, the monthly payment process will be initiated.
In case the demo session does not meet your expectations, please reach out to us within 24 hours to address your concerns or request a refund based on the conditions below.

Refund Requests After Demo Section

3. Refund Requests After Demo:

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied after the demo session and decide not to proceed with the tutor, the initial fixed tutor fee will be refunded minus a nominal processing charge.
Refund requests must be made within 24 hours after the demo session.

Monthly Payment Refund Section

4. Monthly Payment Refund:

Monthly fees are charged once you confirm continuing with the tutor. These fees are nonrefundable except in the following cases:

If the tutor consistently fails to meet scheduled sessions.
If the tutor terminates the arrangement without adequate notice.

In such cases, a prorated refund for the unused portion of the month may be issued.

Tutor Payment Section

5. Tutor Payment:

Tutors are paid monthly, after deducting a platform service fee. This service fee is nonrefundable.
If a tutor is terminated mid-month: The tutoring relationship is ended before the month’s full tutoring schedule is completed. For example, if the tutor stops working halfway through the month, they will be paid only for the sessions they have already completed.
The payment for the completed sessions will be issued: Tutors will still receive compensation for any tutoring sessions they conducted during that partial month.

6. General Refund Conditions:

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to contactus@htutorshiksha.com.
refund will be credit to in your account with in 5-7 businesses days
